Get ready to haunt your Halloween playlist. This October 31st, director Daniel Scott Films is unleashing a special cinematic double feature, premiering two distinct, supernaturally-charged music videos from two powerhouse bands from Wichita, Kansas: Parthian and Atria.
Parthian - Blasphemian Rhapsody
The first feature in this Halloween spectacular is Parthian's staggeringly ambitious "Blasphemian Rhapsody." The track itself is a bold homage to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," reimagined through a brutal death metal lens. The song twists and turns through a myriad of genres Parthian loves, including frenetic jazz, gritty blues, and 60s British pop, all while remaining anchored in true death metal fashion.
To capture the song's sprawling, multi-part structure, the video was filmed on location at Wichita's infamous haunted attraction, 13 Sinister Souls. The crew used the haunted house's various terrifying locations as a visual playground, providing the perfect, chilling backdrop to match the song's dramatic style changes. This is Daniel Scott Film's second project working with Parthian so be sure and check out their Martyrless video we shot yearlier this year.
Atria Chasing Ghosts
The second feature comes from alt-metal outfit Atria with their haunting new single, "Chasing Ghosts." Atria chose a story-driven music video to tell a chilling story. The song, a melodic and moderate alt-metal track, follows a woman who seeks refuge from a violent situation, only to find it with the spectral help of a ghost trapped within a beautiful, and haunting, 1880s Victorian mansion - filmed at the historic Lebold Mansion in Abilene, Kansas.
This is Daniel Scott Film's third project working with Atria so be sure and check out our other music video collaborations Pathogens and Blue Devils.
This double-feature release, both helmed by Daniel Scott Films, presents two unique sides of the supernatural coin—one a chaotic, genre-bending romp through a haunted house, the other a gothic, narrative-driven ghost story. It’s the perfect cinematic event to celebrate the Halloween season!
Don't miss both premieres! The full music videos for Parthian's "Blasphemian Rhapsody" and Atria's "Chasing Ghosts" drop on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Prepare for the haunting by watching both videos on their official YouTube channels and everywhere you stream your music.
Writing a script for a music video is an art in itself and helps the band visualize in their head how the story will unfold. It's a very time consuming process, yet very fulfilling. As a filmmaker, I find that this process stimulates my creativity in an entirely different way, yet ties into the visual aspects of the creative process.
